The Mikado -
Spring 2010
In a special semi-staged performance to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Gilbert & Sullivan's masterpiece the Chorus joined forces with the ladies and gentlemen of Brighton Chamber Choir. We were honoured to be appearing with two of our patrons - international opera star Lynton Black, in the title role, and Dame Margot Hamilton as Katisha. With a cast of over 50, accompanied by members of the Brighton & Hove (actually) Gay Orchestra, this was an unforgettable show!

Coming Out of Make-Up -
May 2009
As part of the Brighton Fringe festival the Chorus produced Coming Out of Make-Up. Our very special guests - David Raven, Dave Lynn, Scott Burey, Robert James and Jason Sutton - are best known for their drag performances, but for the frst time together on stage, they "came out of make-up" to appear as themselves. Music, chat and humour combined to create a thoroughly entertaining show. Special thanks to Josh Mills who stepped in to conduct at the last minute!

Twas
the Night Before Christmas -
December 2008
Our Christmas show this year was hosted
by Doctor Who star Jacqueline King, and we were also
privileged to be joined by guest soprano Fiona Baines.
It was held in the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of
East Sussex, the High Sheriff of East Sussex and his
wife, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Brighton; and the
mix of carols, seasonal songs and festive readings,
followed by mulled wine and mince pies, got us all in
the Christmas spirit!

Roses of Success -
November 2008
A one-off gala performance to celebrate
our third birthday, with a selection of our favourite
songs from previous shows, The Roses of Success was our first appearance at the Old Market. This was
our most ambitious show to date, featuring GIs, sailors,
French revolutionaries and cowboys - as well as opera,
pop ballads and a few comedy numbers! Mr David Raven
once again hosted the evening in his inimitable style.
