Our next show, We Sail The Ocean Blue, is on Friday 9th May 2008, and will be raising money for Pride in Brighton & Hove and The friends of St Andrew's Church. The show is a jaunty and fun medley of songs with a seafaring theme, as well as selections from HMS Pinafore and a host of other nautical numbers.

The evening will also be graced with a gala performance by Chorus patron and benefactor – the acclaimed chanteuse Dame Margot Hamilton, DBE, Dowager Countess of Richborough.

Tickets cost £7.50 and are available now from the Bulldog (available soon at the Iron Duke Hotel too!) and on the door on the night. Show will start at 7.30 pm, refreshments and toilets facilities available at the Iron Duke Hotel opposite the church.

Sunday 23 March saw the chorus returning for a second year to the Golden Handbag Awards. This was a special occasion as we took to the stage with the City Of Brighton Gay Men's Chorus. More pix available from G Scene and RealBrighton.com.

Also, earlier that day we had a fundraising performance at the Aquarium with Dame Margot Hamilton. The pub donated £50, and the audience donated £57 - Thanks everyone!

Our Christmas Show, 'Twas The Night Before Chirstmas' was a great success, raising £357 for Charitiy. £200 to Lorica St Patrick's, who run the homeless Night Shelter, and £157 to the Friends of St Andrew's.

In a unique event the Chorus sang at the Foreign Office in London at a special Christmas celebration on Friday 7 December.

The Chorus has gone from strength to strength over the past year and has now sung in the historic India Office Council Chamber in the Foreign Office - at an event hosted by The Foreign Office’s Lesbian and Gay group (FLAGG) and the Civil Service Rainbow Alliance.

Our last major show, WhipCrackAway! was a huge success - We were able to give £500 to charity (Open Door and The Friends of St Andrew's). You can see more pix of the show here.
