About
the Chorus BH(a)GMC was set up with the specific
aim of providing a place where gay men can socialise, have
fun and develop their vocal skills in a unique environment.
Members benefit from the wide ranging musical experience from
TV and theatreland and have the expertise at hand to develop
their own talents with professional tuition.
The

Please feel free to come to this evening even if you think you don't want to join -.it
will be a good night out anyway!
Chorus rehearsals start at 7.50pm, every Thursday, @ St Andrew's

Our
Next Performance
April 30th/May 1st - The Mikado
Actually CIC presents The Mikado - a special semi-staged performance to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Gilbert & Sullivan's masterpiece. This is a joint production between Brighton & Hove (actually) Gay Men's Chorus and Brighton Chamber Choir. We are proud to announce that our patron, international opera star Lynton Black, will be appearing as the Mikado!
News Actually - The Album!
The chorus are now recording their first album, 'Actually'. Recording started in December 2009, and will take about 3 months.
Any new members joining the Chorus may have a chance to take part in future recording projects after completing a term and one major production.
January 18th 2010 - Only Connect - BBC4
Three of our Chorus members took part in BBC4's fiendishly tricky quiz Only Connect, where they took on three postgrads from Brasenose College Oxford.
August 28th 2009 - Cheque Presentation to Dame Vera Lynn
The Chorus was proud to present Dame Vera Lynn with a cheque for £274, part of the proceeds of our recent Pride Show "On the Beaches" which she attended as our very special guest of honour. The money will go to the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy. Pictured L-R: Anthony Pritchard, Dame Vera Lynn, and Chorus Treasurer Ian Scott.
The show also raised funds for St Dunstan's, the Friends of St Andrew's, and the Churches Conservation Trust.
